What's New for 2001

December 2001

As you see by my announcement on the main page, I have arranged to make some items available from Andreas Lambrou at special holiday prices.  These can be found in the Exchange section of the website.

Additional parts also listed on the bottom of the Exchange section -- sections, aerometric converters, etc.

New entry in the Sumgai section.

The Reference section contains an update as well.

More examples of the special attention Parker gave to 75s destined for the Italian market.

A special look at the packaging of the titanium felt-tip with materials linking it to both the T-1 and 75 lines.

November 2001

The Reference section has been updated with a new page on T-1 as being a member of the 75 family tree.  Also some new photos of various models.  See the "What's New" page of the Reference section.

Added a new page for spare parts in the Exchange section with brand new nibs in many different sizes.

September 2001

Several new items have been added in the Reference section, the most exciting being:1990 and 1991 Treaty pens that I am privileged to be able to share.  Also more prototypes including a solid 18K gold basket weave, aluminum grid, and a French-made sterling silver Keepsake.  Take a look!

July 2001

Several new items have been added in the Reference section: Tiffany Ambassador BP, Spanish Treasure Fleet BP, another variant of a Keepsake, etc.  Definitely worth a look-see.

New FAQ items including questions regarding the Spanish Treasure Fleet 75 pens and nib adjustment tools.

Additional items for sale in the Exchange section, including a few items that are not Parker 75, items which I was able to obtain during my acquisition of some other Parker 75 pens..

 

May 2001

Lots of new information in the Reference section.  Among the many are pre-production papers from Parker.  Did you know what was the name before "75" was selected?  Did you know that Parker received a design patent for the crosshatch grid pattern as applied to writing instruments?

The Exchange section has be updated with two new entries: a solid 14K gold Presidential and a Keepsake.

For those of you in the Michigan area, there will be a meeting of the Michigan Pen Collectors Club on Saturday, June 16th from 12 noon to 4pm.  It will be held at the home of one of our members.  Good company, food, pens, and discussion.  Send me email to get more details about this event and becoming a member (I'm the one responsible for memberships).

booklet accompanying the RMS Queen Elizabeth limited edition 75 that 
describes details of the historic ship that bears the name.

On the first anniversary of this Parker 75 website appears the expansion to new sections, though some are still under construction.  Included are:

Frequently Asked Questions or FAQ
Exchange - a buy, sell, trade board
Sumgai Honor Roll - incredible finds
