Prototype 3 - Circle design

This item appeared in the Bonhams' auction held on July 21, 2000. (Photograph is used with permission.) It is made of unknown material as there are no engravings of any kind, not even the Parker name, logo, or country of origin. The hammer price was £800.

From the larger size of the arrowhead on the clip and the chrome collar on the section with ruled lines, I will guess that this pen was made after 1970.

Update after Chicago Pen Show 2002

Here are some clearer pictures of this prototype.

As you can clearly see, there is no Parker name, logo, or country or origin inscribed on the cap band.

Thus this pen is a prototype that never got approval to the next phase for test marketing.

A slight variant was also found with a brushed aluminum cap.
