Here is a prototype of the Premier sterling grid BP. The most obvious item is the missing cap band with the faceted ring on the cap where it meets the barrel. Naturally there are no markings on this pen as that's usually inscribed onto the missing ring.
Note also that the tassie is completely smooth and circular instead of the faceted ring.
