LTW Corner

This update comes after the Chicago Pen Show that I attended.

Past contributor Tsachi Mitsenmacher from Israel has again provided me with access to several more interesting pens: a prototype Premier FP in red laque and a Nieman-Marcus vermeil Keepsake.  Thus I was able to photograph them for this website.  In a similar way, Lee Chait show me a BP with a pattern of hexagons that I have never seen before.

I also heard from Graham Hill, a fan of the Spanish Treasure Fleet 75 and its interesting p.  Graham wrote from Australia and provided me with an excerpt that gave the perspective of the salvagers of the silver used to make this pen.

I thank all these contributors for adding to the Parker 75 knowledge base represented by my website.  Their generosity benefits all of us with an interest in the Parker 75 line.

My most exciting personal acquisitions since the last update have been the solid gold 75 models, including the 14K Imperial that I reported last time.  Recently I was very fortunate to get a Boucheron 75 BP in a basketweave pattern.  This is a very hard-to-find pen with a quality of workmanship and level of detail that is most impressive.

As always, I welcome your feedback/criticisms on this site.  I am always interested in hearing from you, especially if you have some 75 that you don't see here.  Even better if you want to sell it to me.  If you are looking for a particular 75 or have need of parts, drop me a note.  I might just have it.  Send me email at the LTW@Parker75.com address.

Thanks for visiting.
