Canada

Here are examples of Parker 75s that were made in Canada.  This one is unusual in it shape and pattern is unique and never made to regular production except for Canada.  Thus it was not a simply engraving of CANADA to the cap band of the pen.  This would imply the motivation was a greater degree of independence instead of the rumored avoidance of import duties like for Australia.

I have heard rumors of the sterling grid and Rainbow 75s also having a similar CANADA inscription but I have not had a chance to photograph them.  If you have Canadian 75 models that are not shown here, please email me.

Unknown goldplated smooth prototype BP (?)

Here is a model that I list as Unknown #8.

Update of 11-12-2006

I had heard that these sterling grid 75s existed but finally found one to show you, this one in the BP writing mode.  At first glance everything appears as it should for this model.

But turn it over onto its side to see the inscription that makes it truly special.

Update of 03-31-2007

Here is the matching sterling grid FP, which appears to be a normal, dished tassie version.

Like the BP above, turn it over to the back of the cap and see the inscription that makes this pen unusual.
