The pictures below have the same cap positioned in the same place relative to the others. The ordering from left-to-right is done in what I believe to be chronological with left-most being the earliest and right-most being the most recent.

Top |
Note that the most recent cap (right-most) has a dish-top tassie. |
Front |
Note the smaller arrowhead of the 2 earliest (left-most) caps. Also notice that the Parker name on the earliest cap is below the clip arrow and was move in the other three. The capband was also considerable wider in the later 3 caps that did not have the Parker name below the clip arrow. |
Right |
In this picture we see that on the earliest cap, the Parker log is placed to the right of the clip while all the others did not. |
Back |
At the back of the caps, the earliest had the "Made in USA" while the later versions placed the Parker name, logo, and the "14K G.F. CAP & BARREL USA." |
Left |
The earliest cap on the left has the "14K G.F." while the later ones had nothing. |
Additional detail views are available on the tassies, clip arrowheads, and capband inscriptions.
One last detail is that the earliest cap sported a cartouche on the barrel, an area without the crosshatch grid pattern that could be personalized with some engraving. Apparently the later models omitted this as the capband was widened considerably.
