Here is a French-made BP with an orange-colored laquer material in a lined pattern that is similar to the Ambassador. Upon closer examination we can see that the cap band is engraved with the 20-micron inscription denoting the thickness of the goldplating on the brass base metal. Perhaps this one started out as a GP Godron?
Note that the orange laquer mater is in the inscription on the cap band.
