Here is an interesting prototype of a striped brown laque 75 that has an extra-wide band. I have never seen one this width before. It measures 12mm on the cap and 12mm on the barrel. At 24mm that band is positively huge!
Here is a close-up of the wide band area. As you can see, the Parker name is on the front under the clip, while the back has the LAQUE inscription and Parker logo. There is no inscription for the country of manufacture.
The tassie is the usual dished version which is consistent with a post-1970 French 75 FP.
