These sections were used in the early sterling silver Parker 75s which had the crosshatch grid. From Parker advertising in National Geographic, it would appear that these early sections accompanied the pens at least until the end of 1965.
Notice that once fitted onto the barrel, the existence of metal threads appear as an exposed, unadorned band between the barrel and section.
