Tassies

The table below shows the various tassies seen on the end of caps and barrels used on Parker 75 fountain pens. Special tassies are also shown, but may not be matched, so the corresponding cap or barrel may be omitted as it is usually one of the others previously shown. For example the barrel tassie matching the cabochon found on the Custom Lacque 75 is the dimpled tassie.

Notes

Indeed the difference between the dished and dimpled look was the simple addition of a flat circular aluminum disc. It was 'gold-washed' so was quite prone to wearing out and losing its gold coloring which is what you see in the dished picture above.

This tray of tassie patterns was found at the Parker archives in Newhaven, UK.  A few are recognizable since they were used in 75s, most notably the Spanish Treasure Fleet limited edition.
