Here are detail pictures of the hallmarks for solid 18K gold found on the cap and barrel.
The significant mark is the one shaped like a bird's head, which is the officially used by the French Assay Office to denote 18K gold. The diamond PP is the sponsor's mark in France, i.e. Parker Pen Company. It appears there is an incomplete diamond PP on the cap (top) portion.
BTW, the UK version of the diamond PP are the same letters in a rectangle.
So how do you tell the solid 9K from the 18K? Check the hallmarks and you will see the difference. Here are some close-up pictures.
Looking closely at the Parker logos, you can barely see the numbers "375" stamped within it. This shows it is 9K. 18K is "750" as you see on the nibs.
