The fine lines on this prototype make it look closest to the Milleraies pattern, but this one is made out of sterling silver.
Here is another made of a different material and dull finish that appears to be sandblasted.
The dull appearance of the material reminds me of the Nickel-Silver crosshatch grid. Other than the pattern, it was identical in material appearance to the Grain d'Orge prototype which was also found from the same source.
Here are close-up pictures. Notice even the tassie appears to have the same dull finish as the pen cap and barrel.
The weight of this pen is very different than the production versions I have:

These weight differences support the notion that the material of this pen is not brass.
