This update comes after the Columbus and Michigan Pen Shows that I attended and helped organize respectively. At the Columbus show, I only found one pen worthy of adding to this website. But what a find it is!
I am happy to be able to share with you images of a collapsible/retractable 75 fountain pen which is takes the hint of prototype #14 to its full conclusion! When collapsed and closed it is shorter than a normal closed 75 FP by a over an inch, but when fully retracted with the cap posted, the pen is actually slightly longer than the 75.
On the accessories and ephemera front, I have added the following items:
Parker VP nib display courtesy of Gary Lehrer
A different version of the personalization kit to add tassie lettering sent in by Doug Flax, and
Ephemera that may have been an early advertisement sent in by Len Provisor.
Thank you Gary, Doug, and Len for your contributions to this website update.
Other than those items, things have been pretty quiet on the 75 front.
As always, I welcome your feedback/criticisms on this site. I am always interested in hearing from you, especially if you have some 75 that you don't see here. Even better if you want to sell it to me. If you are looking for a particular 75 or have need of parts, drop me a note. I might just have it. Send me email at the LTW@Parker75.com address.
Thanks for visiting.
Here are the new items in the Parker 75 Reference section.
Fully-formed collapsible/retractable 75 FP that takes prototype 14 to its completion.
Parker VP nib display showing various sizes with numbering system the same as the US 14K nibs
Another Titanium 75 prototype, this one with dimpled tassies
More examples of numbered sections, all from Premier FPs and RB
Additional pictures of the RMS Queen Elizabeth limited edition in the wooden box and certificate of authenticity.
