This is one of the best books on fountain pens that I have found and, for the money, I think it is very worthwhile to acquire.  Why?  It is the single book that exists that has more beautiful photographs of different Parker 75 FPs than any other printed book.  These pens are all pictured life-size and professionally photographed for easy identification.

I dare say that it probably has more different 75s pictured than all other pen books combined!

Considering that this book delves into all other fountain pens, many with exquisite photos, this is a significant accomplishment in the pen world.  Here's a quick summary of the highlights.

Large format, 12x9 inches, with 448 pages, cloth bound
120,000 words of text, provide a comprehensive history through the world
Companies and pens previously unpublished
Materials & Techniques including lacquering, engraving and plastic identification
Professional hand produced line drawings of 100 pens illustrate development of design
Technical drawings of key models and period advertisements complement the text
170 specially commissioned, professional quality color photographs, majority full page
2,300 pens illustrated life size with a market value of over US $2.25 million

Here is the table of contents.
