Here are some personal horror stories about buying 75s. My hope is that showing you some deceptive tricks being perpetrated by others will tip the scales back into balance for more satisfying transactions.

No one is immune, so caveat emptor! Know your seller and do ask questions.

1.	GP Diamante won off eBay	Stay away from sellers who show poor pen photos and have a "no refunds" policy.
2.	Sterling silver Damier offered via email	Don't have any dealings with a dishonest pen seller in Germany named Patrick Dieth or his front Melanie Wild (aka Melanie Smith).
