Item # S030103-01
Here is an early goldplated Diamante 75 FP with the 20-micron inscription engraved on the cap band. Don't confuse this model with the common goldplated grid 75 known as the Insignia. This is a Diamant with the 3-D pyramid in each square of the grid and is one of the more difficult patterns to find. Even better, it has the added inscription of the micron thickness of goldplating making this pen even more prized that normal. As this is one of the earlier 75s made in France, the nib on this pen is a 14K US medium point mated to a section that has the wide goldplated collar. An ink convertor is included. The condition is used but in very good shape with only slight scratches and plating wear on the cap and barrel tassies and at the end of the barrel near the tassie. If this pen had been brand new and in the original box, the price would easily be over $350. Only the FP is being sold. I have no box or papers for this pen. Here are a few more pictures of this pen.
