What's New for 2004

December

31 - Update of the Reference section with a most exciting find -- a retractable 75 FP that I believe to be the finished product of prototype #14!!
28 - Updated the Exchange page to reflect items sold.

November

28 - Added a new page in the Exchange area for custom acrylic pen display stands that can accommodate from small (1-3) to large (16-22) numbers of pens.
14 - Updated the Exchange and nib pages to reflect items sold.  Also the parts page was updated to add the scarce T-1 FP adjustment tool and two very useful flashlights that are perfect for peering down a pen's barrel or cap.

October

24 - Updated the Ephemera page to add another Parker Service Manual, this time the version from May, 1993.  Included are the Duofolds and other then-current models, but the Parker 51 model is no longer covered.
9 - Update of the Reference section and the Exchange pages to reflect items sold. 

September

19 - Update  to the Exchange and nib pages to reflect items sold. 
15 - Update  to the Exchange page to reflect items sold and addition of new sterling grid BP+MP set.

August

27 - Update of the Exchange page to remove items no longer available and to add new items.
18 - Update of the Exchange parts page to remove items no longer available and to add a slim aerometric converter.
11 - Update  to the Exchange page to add a titanium FP and a solid 14K Presidential FP .  Some items were also eliminated to reflect their sale.

 

July

29 - Update  to the Exchange section to reflect items being sold.

 

June

27 - Update of the Reference section and added several pens: Red laquer Premier prototype FP, Nieman-Marcus vermeil Keepsake, unknown BP with hexagonal pattern, and a real Boucheron basketweave BP in 18K gold.
25 - Update  to the Exchange and Sumgai Finds pages.  Also, I plan to update the Reference section this weekend.

 

May

30 - More additions to the Exchange page: a Parker Ambassador BP and a new T-1 FP.
26 - Another high-end was added to the Exchange page: a brand new Spanish Treasure Fleet FP limited edition.  Also it didn't take long for the sale of the Tiffany Ambassador and Rainbow FPs, so these have been marked as sold.
22 - Two more high-end 75 FPs are offered on the Exchange page: sterling Filette and sterling Damier.
16 - Two more high-end 75 FPs are offered on the Exchange page: the solid 14K gold Presidential and the breathtakingly beautiful Rainbow.  Also some nibs are no longer available which is reflected on the nib page.
5 - This is my first update of the Exchange page since the Chicago Pen Show.  I was able to get many high-end Parker 75 items for the discriminating collector.  I have started to add these items and today's update has three: Keepsake, Tiffany Ambassador, and Titanium FPs.

 

April

29 - Update of the Exchange page to remove sold US sterling grid BP and #83 nib. Also added nib assembly removal steps in the FAQ, and new entry in Sumgai Finds for the solid 14K gold Imperial FP described in the Reference section.
5 - Update of the Exchange page to add several items, both FP and BP.

 

March

28 - Update of the Reference section and added several pens to the  Exchange page including custom laque FPs in blue, red, and green as well as a custom laque red BP. In the Parts page I added some spare caps and barrels, including a unique desktop Premier barrel.
23 - Updated the Exchange page with the addition of two GP Imperial prototype FPs inscribed with identification numbers D-3286 and D3269.
11 - Updated the Exchange page for sold item.
8 - Added a pen tube on the Parts page.  These are made of clear plastic, a half-inch in diameter and expandable from 4.75 to 7.875 inches.  Perfect for storing and displaying your 75/Premier FP, BP, RB, FT, MP.

 

February

8 - Added new items on the Exchange page -- two new vermeil 75 FPs .
7 - Update of FAQ #10 and the Exchange page with burgundy laque 75 BP.
1 - Added new FAQ #10 on how to restore the grid lines in a sterling silver grid 75 pen.

Added link to a new website resource for books about pens.

25 - Update Exchange and nib pages with recent sales.
23 - Added more Exchange items: Premier Athenes and 5-piece set. 
21 - More updates made with sales of pens from the Exchange and nibs for sale pages
20 - I updated items on the Exchange page.
6 - I added the table of contents to the description page for the Parker service manual.  
5 - Update of Ephemera section reducing the prices of items from last year, and adding a new item - copy of a Parker service manual from March, 1981, with diagnosing and repair tips for FP, BP, RB, and MP.  Many models are covered, including the 75s of course.
